Five people died during a scuba diving trip in the Maldives' Shark Cave, a deep underwater chamber with strong currents and near-zero visibility. The bodies of two Italian tourists have been recovered from a depth of around 60 metres, with two more expected to be retrieved. Investigators are examining what went wrong in the dangerous conditions of the cave, which features strong downdrafts and murky depths.
